Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons, often referred to as Captain Scarlet, is a 1960s British science-fiction television series produced by the Century 21 Productions company of Gerry and Sylvia Anderson, John Read and Reg Hill. First broadcast on ATV Midlands from September 1967 to May 1968, it has since been transmitted in more than 40 other countries, including the United States, Australia, New Zealand and Japan. Characters are presented as marionette puppets alongside scale model sets and special effects in a filming technique that the Andersons termed "Supermarionation". This technology incorporated solenoid motors as a means of synchronising the puppet's lip movements with pre-recorded dialogue. Set in 2068, Captain Scarlet presents the hostilities between Earth and a race of Martians known as the Mysterons. After human astronauts attack their city on Mars, the vengeful Mysterons declare war on Earth, initiating a series of reprisals that are countered by Spectrum, a worldwide security organisation. Spectrum boasts the extraordinary abilities of its primary agent, Captain Scarlet. During the events of the pilot episode, Scarlet acquires the Mysteron healing power of "retro-metabolism" and is thereafter considered to be virtually "indestructible", being able to recover fully from injuries that would normally be fatal.

Untalkative Bunny is a Canadian/British co-produced animated series about a yellow rabbit and its life in the big city The series consists of small episodes, and are aired by Teletoon, as well as Disney in many parts of the world including the UK & France. It no longer airs on Teletoon, having been cancelled after June 2005. The episodes usually deal with Bunny and the problems of a modern life in the big city, and often present surreal elements. The show is full of "modern life" elements, such as diets, vegetarianism, racism, and environmentalism. The name of the show comes from the fact that Bunny, the main character, never says any word at all, expressing itself completely by facial expressions and other forms of body language. A single gender for Bunny is not completely defined, since it seems to portray both gender roles in different episodes. However, in the episode "Eating With Manners", Bunny is consistently called "Mr. Bunny", therefore it can be assumed that Bunny is a male. Other recurring characters include: ⁕Squirrel: An orange Squirrel, who frequently pays visits to Bunny, and lives in the wild, but still with all the affordable modern comforts. He is sometimes accompanied with his son and daughter.

Andy Robson is a 1982 British children's television series produced by Tyne Tees Television and which was aired on the ITV network for two series in 1982 and 1983. It was based on Frederick Grice's novel The Courage of Andy Robson, published in 1969. Set in Edwardian England and starring Tom Davidson as the eponymous hero, Andy Robson, the series concerned the adventures of Andy, who had been sent to live with his aunt and uncle in rural Northumberland from a coal mining town in County Durham in North East England after his father was injured in a pit accident. Nigel Hawthorne speelt Sir Humphrey Appleby, KCB, MVO, MA (Oxon), een hoge ambtenaar, secretaris-generaal van het ministerie van Bestuurlijke Zaken, met Derek Fowlds in een belangrijke ondersteunende rol als Hackers persoonlijke secretaris, Bernard Woolley. Woolley is steeds de 'man in the middle', verscheurd door zijn persoonlijke loyaliteit aan Hacker en zijn werkrelatie met Sir Humphrey, die zijn baas is. Wanneer Hacker na 1984 premier wordt, is Sir Humphrey juist ook gepromoveerd tot secretaris-generaal op 'No. 10' en Hacker benoemt Bernard Woolley als zijn eerste persoonlijke secretaris op zijn nieuwe post. De humor van de serie ligt vooral besloten in het conflict tussen de minister (die denkt dat hij de macht in handen heeft) en de ambtenarij, die in werkelijkheid het land bestuurt. Steeds opnieuw probeert Jim Hacker een bepaald politiek doel te bereiken, waarbij hij wordt tegengewerkt door Sir Humphrey, die de status quo probeert te handhaven en elke vorm van ambitie per definitie afwijst. Andere vaste onderdelen zijn Sir Humphreys ingewikkelde volzinnen en cynisme en Hackers neiging om lachwekkende Churchilliaanse speeches uit te spreken wanneer hij politiek geïnspireerd is en het vlak na het verkondigen van een mening onder druk overgaan naar het tegenovergestelde. Yes, Minister en Yes, Prime Minister worden door politicologen geroemd om hun accurate portret van het landsbestuur.[1] Iedere aflevering eindigt als sir Humphrey zegt: "Yes minister!" of "Yes prime minister!" Er werd in 2009 ook een Nederlandse variant van de comedy uitgezonden door de VPRO met de naam Sorry Minister. In 2013 werd er een nieuwe reeks van Yes, Prime Minister gemaakt. Hierin vertolkte David Haig de rol van Jim Hacker en nam Henry Goodman de rol van Sir Humphrey voor zijn rekening. De scenario's werden, net als in de originele reeks, geschreven door Antony Jay en Jonathan Lynn. De reeks werd uitgezonden op de Britse zender UKTV Gold.
