The Life of Mammals is een natuurdocumentaire serie geschreven en gepresenteerd door David Attenborough. De serie werd voor het eerst in het Verenigd Koninkrijk uitgezonden vanaf 20 november 2002. The Life of Mammals betreft een studie van de evolutie en de gewoonten van de verschillende soorten zoogdieren. De vierde van gespecialiseerde onderzoeken uitgevoerd door David Attenborough, na zijn belangrijke trilogie die begon met Life on Earth. The BBC Wildlife Specials are a series of nature documentary programmes commissioned by BBC Television.
