Rikuo Nura, bestaat uit drie delen mens en een kwart demon, woont in een geestenhuis met zijn grootvader, het huidige clanhoofd van de Nura youkai. Rikou wordt het volgende clanhoofd, ondanks het feit dat hij niet van zijn demonische kant houdt. Tutenstein is an animated television series, produced by Porchlight Entertainment for Discovery Kids based on the comic by Jay Stephens which was published in Oni Press' JetCat Clubhouse. This cartoon also airs on Jetix in Europe and Maxi TV in Turkey. It began broadcasting on November 1, 2003. The half-hour series features young mummy Tutankhamen who is awakened about 3,000 years after his accidental death and now must face that his kingdom is gone. The series is based on an idea by Jay Stephens. The name is a portmanteau of Tutankhamun and Frankenstein. On October 11, 2008 a TV movie entitled Tutenstein: Clash of the Pharaohs aired on Discovery Kids. The production company, PorchLight Entertainment, which is based in Los Angeles, California, has won Emmys for the first and second seasons of the series. Irish TV production company Telegael, which is based in An Spidéal, Co Galway, also won an Emmy Award for the second season. The Hub aired the show after the closure of Discovery Kids.

Woolley is steeds de 'man in the middle', verscheurd door zijn persoonlijke loyaliteit aan Hacker en zijn werkrelatie met Sir Humphrey, die zijn baas is. Wanneer Hacker na 1984 premier wordt, is Sir Humphrey juist ook gepromoveerd tot secretaris-generaal op 'No. 10' en Hacker benoemt Bernard Woolley als zijn eerste persoonlijke secretaris op zijn nieuwe post. De humor van de serie ligt vooral besloten in het conflict tussen de minister (die denkt dat hij de macht in handen heeft) en de ambtenarij, die in werkelijkheid het land bestuurt. Steeds opnieuw probeert Jim Hacker een bepaald politiek doel te bereiken, waarbij hij wordt tegengewerkt door Sir Humphrey, die de status quo probeert te handhaven en elke vorm van ambitie per definitie afwijst. Andere vaste onderdelen zijn Sir Humphreys ingewikkelde volzinnen en cynisme en Hackers neiging om lachwekkende Churchilliaanse speeches uit te spreken wanneer hij politiek geïnspireerd is en het vlak na het verkondigen van een mening onder druk overgaan naar het tegenovergestelde. Yes, Minister en Yes, Prime Minister worden door politicologen geroemd om hun accurate portret van het landsbestuur.[1] Iedere aflevering eindigt als sir Humphrey zegt: "Yes minister!" of "Yes prime minister!" Er werd in 2009 ook een Nederlandse variant van de comedy uitgezonden door de VPRO met de naam Sorry Minister. In 2013 werd er een nieuwe reeks van Yes, Prime Minister gemaakt. Hierin vertolkte David Haig de rol van Jim Hacker en nam Henry Goodman de rol van Sir Humphrey voor zijn rekening. De scenario's werden, net als in de originele reeks, geschreven door Antony Jay en Jonathan Lynn. De reeks werd uitgezonden op de Britse zender UKTV Gold. In België was de reeks te zien op de zender Acht.[2][3]

The Super Hero Squad Show is an American cartoon series by Marvel Animation. It is based on the Marvel Super Hero Squad action figure line from Hasbro, which portray the Avengers, the X-Men, and various other characters of the Marvel Universe in a cartoonish super-deformed-style. It is also a self-aware parody of the Marvel characters, with influences taken from on the comedic Mini Marvels series of parody comic books, in that the heroes tend to find themselves in comedic situations, and have cartoonish bents in comparison to their usually serious personalities, and is an overall comedic take on the Avengers. The series' animation was produced by Film Roman and Marvel Animation.
